Wyoming Electronic Titling Update

Since the passage of SF 25 – Electronic lien and titling system, the Wyoming Department of Transportation has been busy compiling input from stakeholder groups on the required functionality of the system.  This includes input from the auto dealers, financial institutions, county clerks and treasurers, insurance, and towing and salvage industries.

Representatives of the Department will be meeting with county IT representatives this fall to confirm interface requirements with county systems.

The Department plans to finalize the Request for Proposals by October and out by December.

The legislation establishes an implementation date of July 1, 2027.
