Wyoming Legislative Session Begins Tuesday

The 2025 Wyoming legislative session will convene this coming Tuesday, January 14 at noon.  The first order of business will be the opening ceremonies and swearing in of new legislators. Following a brief recess, the bodies will immediately jump into bill introductions.

On Wednesday a joint session of the Senate and House will convene at 10 a.m. and Governor Mark Gordon will deliver his State of the State message, followed by a State of the Judiciary from Supreme Court Justice Kate Fox.

The public can watch the session and all committee meetings on the Wyoming Legislature’s YouTube channel.

The 2025 session is scheduled to last 37 days with one day of recess on President’s Day, February 17.

Credit unions will be in the Capitol on Thursday, January 16 for the Day at the Capitol event. There is still time to register for the event and help advocate for credit union priorities.
