Credit Unions contribute to Wyoming economy

The results of the GoWest Credit Union’s economic and community impact surveys are now available.  This data is an invaluable tool in the advocacy work in Wyoming.

Once again, the data shows Wyoming’s credit unions have a significant impact on the economy in Wyoming providing $178 million in direct impact, providing 900 jobs and contributing $800,000 to Wyoming causes with support to 500 nonprofit organizations.

The report will be highlighted during the Wyoming Day at the Capitol next Thursday, January 16. Also, GoWest will be the featured sponsor of the Cowboy State Daily’s WyoPolitics weekly newsletter and credit union economic and community impacts will be highlighted to their 12,000 readers.
