Express Credit Union Announces the Passing of Recently Retired CEO Paul Baudin

With a heavy heart, Express Credit Union shared the news of the passing of its recently retired CEO, Paul Baudin, on Dec. 22. Paul was a cherished leader, friend, and advocate for economic justice who dedicated nearly 15 years to Express Credit Union and more than 45 years to the financial industry.

Paul joined Express Credit Union as a Board member and transitioned to senior leadership in 2014, becoming CEO in 2017. Under his guidance, Express Credit Union grew significantly, doubled its assets, and expanded services to underserved communities through innovative programs. His unwavering commitment to the members was evident in every initiative he championed. His kindness and steadfast dedication to our Express Credit Union team will not be forgotten.

“Paul’s ever-present optimism was the first thing you’d feel when you were in a room with him,” shared Troy Stang, GoWest’s President and CEO. “His memory will live on for years with those of us blessed to know him and work with him.”

Express Credit Union and the Credit Union Movement honor Paul’s profound contributions and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, but his vision and commitment to the community will remain a guiding force for all at Express Credit Union.
