2024 Leadership Institute Pacific Northwest Cohort

Leadership isn’t just about guiding teams – it’s about transforming organizations, industries, and communities. GoWest’s two signature leadership development programs – Leadership Institute and Advanced Leadership Program – are designed to help ensure the next generation of credit union leaders are ready for tomorrow’s challenges. Registration for the programs’ 2025 cohorts is now open to emerging and seasoned credit union professionals, with early pricing available through Dec. 16.

Leadership Institute

GoWest is excited to offer three cohorts for the 2025 Leadership Institute (LI). Choose from three central locations – Casper, Wyo., Denver, Colo., and Vancouver, Wash. – for your growth journey.

What you’ll gain from participating in the Leadership Institute:

• Expert-led training in decision-making, relationship management, and strategic growth.
• Workshops and collaborative experiences tailored to credit union leaders in the GoWest region.

The Leadership Institute develops early-career employees’ essential skills in areas such as change management, mentoring, and supervision while providing guidance on building one’s leadership brand and exemplifying values-based leadership.

Advanced Leadership Program

By participating in the Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) cohort, you’ll have the unique opportunity to connect with peers from across GoWest’s six-state membership while gaining fresh perspectives in three dynamic cities. Each location provides not only a change of scenery but also a deeper connection to the diverse credit union community we serve – an invaluable experience that strengthens both your network and leadership approach.

ONE Cohort, THREE Destinations

• Session 1: Portland, Oregon
• Session 2: Denver, Colorado
• Session 3: Phoenix, Arizona

ALP is designed for C-suite executives, experienced leaders, directors, and next-generation mid-level talent seeking to expand their strategic capabilities and elevate their leadership impact. This intensive program is customized to deepen the bench strength and fast-track the talent readiness of tomorrow’s leaders.
