GoWest Endorses Withers for Senate

The GoWest Credit Union Association threw its support and formal endorsement behind Kim Withers, former President and CEO of Wyoming based Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union and candidate of Senate District 6.

The Wyoming Government Affairs Committee requested GoWest’s formal endorsement which was approved last week. This endorsement sends a message to voters in Senate District 6 that Withers has the support and backing of not only Wyoming’s credit unions but of credit unions across the six-state region. GoWest is also supporting Withers’ campaign through independent expenditures.

Withers has also received endorsements from the Wyoming Hospital Association, the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, and notable community leaders.

Wyoming’s primary election is August 20. Credit union leaders are encouraged to reach out to family, friends, and neighbors in Senate District 6 to help support Withers’ election bid.
