Former Legislator to Take Over as President of Oregon Bankers Association

The Oregon Bankers Association announced last week that Scott Bruun will take over on June 10 as President from longtime executive Linda Wilhelms Navvarro.

Bruun is the current Vice President of Oregon Business & Industry focusing on tax and fiscal issues. Bruun, a University of Oregon graduate, also served in the Oregon Legislature from 2005-2011 representing West Linn and parts of Lake Oswego and Tualatin and ran for Congress. His early career included time as a commercial and corporate banker for more than 10 years and worked at his family’s general contracting company.
