Sooper Credit Union Accepting Scholarship Applications

Sooper Credit Union and the SCU Community Foundation, based in Arvada, Colorado, are accepting scholarship applications for the 2023 school year.

The SCU Community Foundation was established in 2009 by the Sooper Credit Union Board of Directors to focus and direct philanthropic efforts for charitable and educational purposes. It awards $10,000 every year to credit union members to assist in furthering their education.

Applicants must be members of Sooper Credit Union with an account in good standing and a current or prospective student accepted to an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Criteria such as financial need, academics, extracurricular activities, leadership positions, awards and honors, community involvement, and work experience will be considered.

Completed applications and supporting documents must be submitted no later than March 15, 2023. To learn more and submit an online application, visit soopercu.org/scholarship.
