GoWest Complements Fall Hike with Credit Union Visibility in The Hill

As 42 credit union advocates joined the GoWest team on Capitol Hill last week to meet with members of our Congressional delegation, the Association leveraged advertising in The Hill to elevate the credit union voice and the impact credit unions have in their communities.

“We’re leaning into stronger, clearer, and more compelling messaging, grounded in real data, that reflects credit unions’ values and shows the strength of their business model in today’s market,” said Katy Wagnon, SVP, marketing and communications for GoWest, about the ads in the Hill. “This message showcases how credit unions are collaboratively and uniquely leaning in, as not-for-profit cooperatives, to support their members and communities. Housing is a critical topic in Congress and credit unions want to be at the table, partnering on innovative solutions to address housing challenges so they can continue to serve consumers across constituencies.”

This effort brings light to how GoWest advocates showed up with data-informed, humanized and impactful proof.

“As credit unions advocated on the ground in D.C., this was a great supporting piece to spur and emphasize conversations about the positive impact of credit unions,” Wagnon added.
