Your members’ trust and data security are of the utmost importance to your credit union, and preparation builds their confidence in your services. It takes vigilance by all of us to prevent and respond to cybersecurity attacks, to take actions to protect our members’ data, to frequently remind them of things they can do to protect their information, and for rapid response should an incident occur.

Compliance Cybersecurity Resources
The GoWest Compliance team has a library of resources designed to help credit unions with cybersecurity protection, detection, and response. This page includes information regarding regulatory guidance, federal reporting tools, best practices, and service providers.

Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
The FTC offers information about the latest scams, identity theft and online security and advice on how to help you avoid, report, and recover from them.
State Attorney General Websites
Credit unions can visit their state Attorney General’s website for additional information about fraud and scams.
