Today at MAXX: Speakers Will Educate, Motivate, and Inspire

Theme Focuses on Fueling Growth through Talent and Transformation

Denver, CO (Oct. 14, 2024) —MAXX 2024 is off to an exciting start. Today’s speakers will educate, motivate, and inspire credit unions as the event kicks off. Troy Stang, President and CEO, joined by Sharee Adkins, Chief Impact Officer and Executive Director of the GoWest Foundation, and Jennifer Wagner, Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Officer for GoWest will give the opening keynote and vision. The trio will lead attendees over obstacles that members may face and remind them of the core purpose of the Credit Union Movement: providing members with the freedom to achieve goals.

Rudy Soto, veteran and Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Office of External and Intergovernmental Affairs for the U.S. Department of Agriculture will welcome the diverse audience on this important day across America – Indigenous Peoples’ Day. As a credit union advocate and public servant, he has been advancing priorities that credit unions care about such energy, the environment, agriculture, and tribal affairs, public lands, air, and water.

Breakout sessions will feature topics including advocacy, rural engagement, economic look-ahead, green lending, and more. Attendees will hear from peers and colleagues across the industry, and gain insight and ideas about engagement across a variety of audiences.

The GoWest team is ready to inspire and be inspired in return,” said Stang. “There is no limit to the opportunities facing credit unions, and today we will workshop, plan, prepare and motivate each other to push forward innovation and improvements.

Hope to see you at MAXX 2024!
