GoWest’s next CDFI Roundtable is Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. PT (3 p.m. MT). This is an opportunity to connect with professionals from other CDFIs within the GoWest region.

Credit unions will be sharing what they have been doing in their communities, and the GoWest team will provide updates on relevant changes to the CDFI program as well as discuss how GoWest can support you on your credit union’s CDFI journey.

This quarter’s special guest is Brian Knight, President and CEO of The National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS). He will share thoughts on the DEI landscape and what DEI means for a CDFI, including:

• What the NASCUS CIC committee is and what it is working on
• What DEI is, what it is not, and why it’s important in the workplace and business
• Statistics on DEI, CDFIs, LIDs, and MDIs
• The statutory limitations MDIs face
