Jeremy Calva Joins Rivermark as Chief Financial Officer

Rivermark Community Credit Union, based in Beaverton, Oregon, is pleased to welcome Jeremy Calva as its new chief financial officer. He will oversee Rivermark’s finance, accounting, risk, and internal audit areas.

Calva brings over 20 years of financial service experience to Rivermark. He most recently served as a senior vice president for City National Bank, overseeing compliance issue management, third-party risk management, budgeting, planning, reporting, and administration. He has also held positions with several other financial institutions, including America’s Christian Credit Union and Xceed Financial Credit Union.

“I’m excited to join a team that is focused on serving their community in a deeper and more intentional way,” said Calva. “I’m looking forward to aligning my experience in managing financial and operational risks while centering our focus on serving members.”

Jeremy has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1999. During the financial crisis, he established recovery models that were utilized to recover losses in residential mortgage-backed securities from capital market participants that were sold in breach of contractual obligations. He is a graduate of Western CUNA Management School and a proud undergraduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with a double major in accounting and marketing.

In addition, Jeremy has also held numerous other leadership positions for various non-profit organizations, including South Pasadena Education Foundation, YoungLife, and Christian Assembly.
