Harborstone Credit Union Hires New Senior Vice President and Chief Banking Officer

Tim Hoefel has become the new senior vice president and chief banking officer at Harborstone Credit Union, based in Lakewood, Washington, and will oversee the credit union’s retail banking division and contact center.

Hoefel began his career in financial institutions, working as a branch manager, district manager, area manager, retail director, and most recently, as senior vice president and commercial and business banking director at Umpqua Bank. He earned his degree in business administration from Western Washington University in Bellingham and attended the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington in Bellevue.

He is also a board member for Junior Achievement of Washington and vice president for Communities in Schools of Kent in Kent, Wash.
