Job Description:

Essential Functions:

1. Under the general lead of Assistant Lending Manager performs a wide variety of complex duties related to the successful completion of all loan department activities.
2. Provides, in person and by telephone, general and specific information
concerning Credit Union services, products, and policies to members.
3. Answers questions and solves problems for members and staff by listening
collecting data, finding answers, and following up on details to resolve the
matter to the inquiring party’s satisfaction.
4. Desires to expand his/her knowledge of organizational and departmental
needs and requirements and take part in the development and realization of
organizational goals and objectives.
5. Handles multiple tasks while successfully meeting deadlines.
6. Filing of GAP claims and Life and Disability via TruStage & SWBC websites.
7. Make outbound calls to members daily for follow-up on insurance or title documents.
8. Make outbound calls to dealerships and /or DMV daily for multi-state lien perfection status and or documents.
9. Assists members in the lobby regardless of their needs.
10. Handles department emails daily.
11. Daily reviews and processing of loan files completed by loan officers.

Specific Requirements:

1. Strong interpersonal, communication, and interviewing skills, ability to
determine member needs, and the willingness to cross-sell Credit Union
products and services
2. Must demonstrate attention to detail and documentation.
3. Have the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently.
4. The ability to do multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
5. Ability to organize work to give prompt attention to member requests,
while at the same time meeting deadlines for work processing.
6. Capability for effective use of office equipment and computer systems to
perform duties required including Microsoft Word and Excel.
7. Demonstrated skills in member transactions and the ability to interpret and
explain policies and transactions posted to member accounts.
8. Able to work as a team member or independently.
9. Must possess effective telephone skills and effective verbal and written
communication skills.
10. Must possess Notary Stamp.

Job Requirements:

Education: High school diploma required.

Continued professional training in finance, sales, and member
service.

Experience: A minimum of two years experience in a financial institution
preferably in a Credit Union
