Pacific NW Federal Credit Union in NE Portland is seeking a Card Services Specialist to assist staff with daily operations of member card accounts. This position earns a highly competitive rate of $23-$26 per hour. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CARD SERVICES SPECIALIST

As a Card Services Specialist, you will be a critical part of our Accounting team, working cross-departmentally with Risk Management and Member Service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and monitoring member requests for fraud/disputes and charge backs according to policies and regulations
  • Providing information and direction (research) regarding accounts status, requests, payments and right and obligations associated with the account
  • Providing backup to ACH, wire, and share draft functions
  • Remaining current on applicable laws and regulations

This position offers some flexibility and has the potential for hybrid work after the initial training and review period. You will get great satisfaction from helping our frontline teams provide outstanding service and protecting members and the Credit Union from potential losses.


CARD SERVICES SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three to five years of similar or related experience required
  • Financial Institution and/or Credit Union experience, and/or experience processing member disputes and fraud reports preferred
  • Experience with Accounting (reconciliation) preferred
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Intermediate Excel skills

CARD SERVICES SPECIALIST WORK SCHEDULE

This position usually works Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with the potential for hybrid work following the initial training and review period.
