Participate in the Milliman Northwest Financial Survey by July 3 — Receive the Results for Free!
Posted by Alyse Knudsen on June 17, 2026
The deadline to participate in the 2026 Milliman Northwest Financial Survey (MNFS) is quickly approaching. If your credit union hasn’t yet submitted its data, now is the time as the deadline for submission is Friday, July 3.
As a GoWest member benefit, the MNFS is a powerful online compensation platform designed specifically for financial institutions. New this year, it replaces the former America’s Credit Unions Staff Salary Report, providing a more robust and flexible resource for compensation planning.
Why Your Participation Matters
The value of the survey depends on the strength of the data behind it.
GoWest’s goal is for 75% of member credit unions to participate, creating the most comprehensive and representative compensation resource possible for the region.
Fifty credit unions have already reported data this year, double the number of credit unions who participated last year. While this is an excellent increase, more data means more valuable insights for the entire credit union community — and for your own organization.
An added bonus this year: participating credit unions receive the final report at no cost — a savings of up to $999.
Better Data. Better Decisions.
The MNFS platform allows credit unions to build customized peer groups and explore detailed compensation and benefits data, helping leaders make informed decisions about:
- Competitive pay structures
- Talent recruitment and retention
- Benefits benchmarking
- Succession planning
- Long-term workforce strategy
Key Submission Dates:
- Data effective date: May 1
- Submission deadline: July 3
- Survey publication: Early August
For first-time participants, the survey typically takes 2–4 hours to complete. Future years will require significantly less time, as job matches and organizational data are stored within the platform.
If you’ve been meaning to participate but haven’t had the chance, there’s still time, but the deadline is approaching quickly.
Thank you for helping build a stronger compensation resource for credit unions across the GoWest region.
