Fibre Federal Credit Union and TLC Select Joe Schulte as New SVP/Chief Lending Officer.

Fibre Federal Credit Union and TLC have selected Joe Schulte as the credit union’s new SVP/Chief Lending Officer. Since 2021, Schulte served as VP of Business Development for the Fibre Federal and TLC’s Oregon Coast region, and his new role will focus on member experience and production across all service areas.

Schulte has 30 years of experience in the commercial lending and financial services industry, beginning with the former Bank of Astoria. He co-founded Clatsop Community Bank in 2008, where he played a central role in the bank’s formation, strategic planning, regulatory approval, and long-term leadership. As CEO of Clatsop Community Bank, he managed executive operations, shareholder relations, and regulatory engagement with the FDIC and the State of Oregon, while also serving on the bank’s Board of Directors and leading the negotiation and sale of the institution to Lewis and Clark Bank.

In addition to his executive leadership roles, he served as an Adjunct Professor of Business at Pacific University, teaching courses in strategy, finance, marketing, and real estate. Schulte also contributed to the broader banking industry through service on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Bankers Association. He holds a Master of Science in Business Management from the Oregon Graduate Institute and a dual major bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Pacific University.

Schulte’s career encompasses entrepreneurial leadership, regulatory expertise, and strategic vision, positioning him to support the credit union’s ongoing growth and strategic direction.
