Go Beyond the Basics: Join GoWest’s BSA Officer Training Sept. 9–10

If you’re in charge of BSA compliance at your credit union, you already know the stakes are high — and the rules are always changing. That’s why GoWest’s two-day, virtual BSA Officer Training (Sept. 9–10) is built to do more than just check a box. This interactive, deep-dive experience is designed specifically for BSA officers, compliance leaders, and credit union executives who want to move beyond the slides and into strategy.

“Today’s BSA Officers need more than a regulatory refresher — they need relevant, actionable training that speaks to the real challenges they face,” said Paige Beffort, GoWest’s Manager of Credit Union Development. “We’re proud to offer a practical, affordable program that’s built for real-world success.

This two-day BSA Officer Training will be held on Sept. 9 and 10 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. PT (10 a.m.-3 p.m. MT) each day and will cover the essentials — and then take it further with:

  • Building trusted relationships with law enforcement, examiners, and your community
  • Staying ahead of emerging industry trends
  • Conducting risk assessments that are practical, actionable, and examination-ready
  • Understanding the evolution of the Bank Secrecy Act and how it informs your strategy

Through interactive discussions and real-world scenarios, we’ll move past the slides and into meaningful conversation about what success looks like for BSA Officers today.
