Elevations Credit Union Names Deron Streitenberger as its Chief Information Officer

Bringing decades of leadership experience in technology, operations, cybersecurity, and digital transformation to the organization, Deron Streitenberger has been appointed Chief Information Officer at Elevations Credit Union.

“I’m excited to join an organization that is deeply committed to its members, employees and communities,” said Streitenberger. “Technology plays an increasingly important role in helping financial institutions deliver value, strengthen security and create meaningful experiences. I look forward to working with the team at Elevations to continue advancing those efforts.”

Streitenberger will lead Elevations’ technology strategy, overseeing information technology, cybersecurity, data, and digital infrastructure as the credit union continues to optimize for the needs and opportunities of modern technology while prioritizing member experience.

“Deron brings a strong belief that great technology organizations succeed when they build trust, develop talent, and stay closely connected to the needs of the business and the members they serve,” said Michael Calcote, President and CEO of Elevations. “Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for advancing digital capabilities and helping organizations leverage technology to achieve strategic goals.”

Streitenberger joins Elevations after more than a decade with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, where he served as CIO before being promoted to chief business operations officer. In those roles, he helped guide technology strategy and operational excellence. He has also held technology and operations leadership positions with Republic Mortgage Insurance Company, Chase, and the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland.

Streitenberger holds an MBA from Saint Leo University and a bachelor’s degree in information systems from the University of South Florida. He is a graduate of Leadership at the Peak through the Center for Creative Leadership and previously served as an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University, where he taught information systems and digital transformation.
