Wyoming Credit Unions Express Support for Biteman
Posted by Bobbie Frank on July 21, 2026
Current Wyoming State Senate President, Bo Biteman received the support last week of the WY Government Affairs Committee in his bid for Wyoming’s lone House seat.
Biteman, from Sheridan County, has been serving in the legislature since 2016. His professional background includes 23 years as a landman in the oil and gas and mining industries. As a state legislator and Senate President, Biteman helped advance credit union priority legislation in the past several years, including the public deposits legislation passed in the 2025 session.
Friday morning, credit union leaders and members of the GoWest team interviewed Biteman, and his commitment to protecting the credit union tax exemption and advancing priorities important to credit unions was clear.
Individuals are encouraged to donate to the campaign as well.

Following the WYGAC meeting, a meet and greet was hosted with United States Senator John Barrasso and US Senate candidate and current Wyoming House member Harriett Hageman.
