Built for Small Teams: Inside the Small Credit Union Resource Center

Built with smaller teams in mind, the Small Credit Union Resource Center has been refreshed to better reflect how small credit unions work — collaboratively, creatively, and with limited time and resources. The updated hub brings together events, training, consulting, and stories that help small credit union leaders connect, learn, and move forward with confidence.

Roundtable and Summit Calendar

Monthly, one-hour virtual Small Credit Union Roundtables (SCURTs) create space for small credit union leaders to connect with peers, share best practices, celebrate wins, and engage in open dialogue with GoWest around the priorities and challenges facing small credit unions.

New in 2026, in-person Small Credit Union Summits are designed exclusively for small credit union leaders. These free events will bring together leaders from small GoWest-member credit unions for a day focused on connection, collaboration, and candid conversation.

Training, Resources & Consulting

GoWest offers a wide range of resources designed specifically to support small credit unions. These include hands-on consulting for certifications and grants, on-demand and discounted training, compliance and legal support, marketing and policy resources, and access to scholarships and reduced pricing for events.

Together, these tools will help small credit unions navigate regulatory complexity, invest in staff development, strengthen operations, and maximize available opportunities while managing costs.

Connect with credit union peers across the region through GoWest’s Credit Union Conversations — an online community designed to support you and your team. Join discussions, ask questions, share resources, and exchange insights with fellow credit union leaders.
