Columbia Credit Union Welcomes Ash Rawal as Chief Information Officer

Columbia Credit Union has continued to invest in top talent with the hiring of Ash Rawal as Chief Information Officer. Rawal brings more than two decades of financial services and technology leadership experience and will guide the credit union’s information technology strategy, operational resilience, and innovation roadmap.

Rawal joins Columbia Credit Union, which serves members in Washington and Oregon, following an extensive career spanning community banks, large national institutions, and one of the country’s most critical financial infrastructures. Most recently, he served as Head of Engineering and Delivery for Emerging Payments at Truist, leading teams responsible for advancing modern payment capabilities. Prior to that, he served as Chief Technology Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, where he oversaw development and operations for national products and services for the Central Bank. Rawal has also served as CIO of a Connecticut state‑chartered innovation bank.
