Elevations Credit Union Donates $30,000 to Local Food Banks Ahead of Thanksgiving

Elevations Credit Union has donated $5,000 to Food Bank for Larimer County’s Tour de Turkey food drive, in addition to a donation earlier this month of $25,000 to Community Food Share, which serves Boulder and Broomfield, Colo.

“On the heels of the government shutdown, we know so many will be working to get back on their feet,” said Amy Pezzani, CEO of Food Bank for Larimer County. “This gift means even more people will be able to gather around a table and enjoy a holiday meal with their friends and loved ones.”

Elevations donated $10,000 to local food banks in 2024, ran a holiday donation drive for two local children’s homes in that same year, and regularly supports local organizations, including Local Change Foundation — an independent nonprofit associated with Elevations.

Food Bank for Larimer County distributed enough for 10.1 million meals in 2025, and 93% of donations go directly to those in need through hunger-relief programs. The nonprofit distributed 2.5 million pounds of food to 130 local organizations this past year, saving them $4.6 million.

Community Food Share distributed enough food to help provide more than 11 million meals last fiscal year, an estimated value of more than $28 million. The nonprofit powers a network of more than 40 local nonprofits while also delivering nutritious meals directly to families, seniors, and individuals in need, ensuring no neighbor is left behind.

“Given the current need, we are committed to uplifting our community and making a meaningful impact by contributing to local food drives during the holidays — bringing comfort and support to neighbors who need it most,” said Wendy Beswick, Chief Marketing Officer at Elevations Credit Union.
