Washington Credit Union Leaders Share Shutdown Response with Rep. Larsen

Washington credit union leaders met with Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02) in Lynnwood to share how they are stepping up for their members as the government shutdown continues. Leaders provided an overview of the programs and resources they’re providing to members facing difficult times as a result of the shutdown, emphasizing how this response is grounded in credit unions’ core principle of “people helping people.” Rep. Larsen shared the outlook on government funding and provided insight into how the shutdown will impact people and institutions in different ways.

We are grateful to Rep. Larsen for meeting with Washington’s credit union leaders at this critical juncture. This was a high-impact opportunity to demonstrate the credit union difference with an influential Member of Congress.
