Building Relationships in Wyoming

Adele Gardner, Meridian Trust FCU, Matt Ballou, WyHy FCU, and Bobbie Frank, GoWest VP Legislative Affairs, WY had the opportunity to visit with Senator Taft Love to introduce credit unions and discuss priorities for the upcoming session.

The Laramie and Platte County Commissioners recently appointed Senator Love to fill the vacancy in Senate District 6 when Darin Smith was appointed to serve as U.S. Attorney.

Taft is a Laramie County agriculture producer and developer. He has been active in the Laramie County Republican Party and served on the Laramie County School District #2 Board. He has a background in wildlife management, having worked for the Wyoming Game and Fish as well as being an outfitter and guide.

Senator Love has been appointed to the Senate Agriculture, State and Public Lands & Water Resources Committee, and the Select Committee on School Facilities.
