Posted by Ryan Fitzgerald on September 24, 2025
Colorado credit union advocates hosted a meeting today with Rep. Jeff Crank (CO-5) at Air Academy Credit Union in Colorado Springs. Fifty percent of Coloradans, over 2.8 million consumers. Credit union leaders spoke about the key issues relevant to them and their members, including protecting credit unions’ tax status; encouraging support for updates to the Federal Credit Union Act and for the Taskforce for Recognizing and Averting Payment Scams (TRAPS) Act; establishing a national data privacy standard; and protecting the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) program. Thank you to Rep. Crank and all Colorado credit unions in attendance!
