Barlow enters Wyoming Governor’s Race
Posted by Bobbie Frank on August 13, 2025

Senator Eric Barlow announced his candidacy for Wyoming Governor in an event at the Wright Centennial Museum in Campbell County. Barlow grew up in Wright and still runs his ranch there.
Senator Barlow is the third candidate to announce. Current Secretary of State Chuck Gray continues to indicate that his run is hinged on Congresswoman Harriet Hageman’s decision. Hageman ran for Governor in the 2018 election against Mark Gordon and Foster Friess. She was elected to the US House of Representatives in 2022, defeating Liz Cheney.
Senator Barlow has been a supporter of credit union issues, including the legislation to amend statutes to require towing companies to provide timely notification to lien holders, public deposit legislation, and electronic titling. He spoke with the Wyoming Credit Union Government Affairs Committee during their January and July 2025 meetings.
