Record-Breaking $2.134 Million Raised at 25th Annual Northwest Classic Golf Tournament

On July 21, credit unions, industry partners, and supporters teed off at The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club in Aloha, Ore., for the 25th annual Credit Unions for Kids Northwest Classic. Together, they raised an incredible $2.134 million — a new record for the tournament.

This year’s milestone pushes the tournament’s total to $17.3 million raised since 2000, directly supporting children’s hospitals across the GoWest region. Proceeds fund critical services like pediatric rehabilitation, cancer research, medical equipment, and charitable care at hospitals including Seattle Children’s, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart – Riverbend, and Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Thanks to the unwavering generosity of donors and all fundraising expenses covered by First Tech Federal Credit Union, 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to hospital partners.

“Each year, I am deeply moved by the extraordinary generosity of the employees, members, credit union leaders and corporate sponsors who open their hearts and wallets in support of sick kids and their families,” shared Greg Mitchell, First Tech Federal Credit Union’s President and CEO. “This year was especially meaningful as we marked our 25th anniversary, while cresting more than $2.1 million in cumulative donations. Freely sharing our time, talent and treasures in service to others in need brings hope to kids and families while brightening hearts of donors and bringing much needed light and hope into our homes, communities and society.”

Congratulations to the GoWest credit unions that helped make the golf tournament a success and for driving real impact — on and off the course!
