Posted by Bobbie Frank on July 18, 2025

On July 17, the Wyoming Stable Token Commission met to receive updates on the issuance of a Wyoming Stable Token. The Commission was presented with several pilot program demonstrations including one from Anthony Appollo, Executive Director of the Commission demonstrating an on block payment utilizing Wyoming Stable Token. The transaction took seconds and the cost was minimal.
Another demonstration from Hashfire by John Belitsky, Founder and CEO demonstrated smart contracts for government procurement and payment with Wyoming Stable token. Again, demonstrating how the smart contract interfaced with payment made on the block chain. The demonstrated transaction cost .00013 cents.
The last demonstration by Fundora, Founder and CEO Mark Ruble, a Wyoming native, demonstrated smart contract loan processes and payments, again utilizing Wyoming Stable Token.
Wyoming is currently testing value-less tokens on test nets of Avalanche, Solana, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, and Polygon. These tests are key steps towards the anticipated launch of the first fiat-baked and fully-reserved stable token issued by a public entity in the United States.
