Ent Credit Union Appoints David Sprenger as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Credit Union Advocacy

Ent Credit Union, which serves members along Colorado’s Front Range, recently announced the appointment of David Sprenger as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Credit Union Advocacy. In this newly created role, Sprenger will lead Ent’s efforts to build and strengthen relationships with legislators and regulators, elevating the credit union’s voice at both the state and federal levels and advocating for policies that benefit Ent’s members and communities.

“As Colorado’s largest credit union, Ent has a responsibility to do more to champion our industry and the communities we serve,” said Chad Graves, CEO of Ent Credit Union. “Having a dedicated leader in this space means we can foster deeper connections with policymakers, have a bigger voice in state and national capitals, and collaborate with others to shape the public perception of credit unions. We’re thrilled to welcome David to Ent and know his expertise will be invaluable to our mission.”

Sprenger joins Ent Credit Union with more than 20 years of experience in advocacy and government relations across higher education and healthcare sectors. Known for his ability to build strong relationships with state and federal leaders, Sprenger has successfully launched an advocacy development landscape. His strategic approach and expertise in coalition-building will be instrumental in advancing Ent’s initiatives and advocating for the rights and interests of credit union members’ statewide ambassador programs and has a deep understanding of Colorado’s economy.

“I am excited to join Ent Credit Union and work alongside a team so dedicated to community and member service,” said Sprenger. “Ent’s mission to support and advocate for its members aligns perfectly with my background, and I look forward to strengthening our advocacy efforts to create positive, lasting impacts.”

In his role, Sprenger will prioritize fostering stronger ties with state and federal legislators, supporting policies that benefit credit union members, and engaging with the public to raise awareness about the importance of credit unions. His work will play a key role in helping Ent ensure that the credit union movement remains robust and continues to provide invaluable financial services to Colorado communities.
