Wyoming 2025 Legislative Session Schedule Released

Last week, the Management Council met and adopted the 2025 session schedule. The session will run 37 days convening on January 14 and adjourning by midnight on March 6. The Joint Session will be January 15 when the Governor will deliver his state of the state address. The Credit Union Day at the Capital will be January 16. One recess day was scheduled for Monday February 17, President’s Day.
The schedule includes the deadlines throughout the session for required action. The last day for senate files to be introduced will be January 29 and in the House will be February 3. February 7 will be the last day for bills to be reported out of Committee in House of origin.
The supplemental budget bill will be slated for Committee of the Whole by January 31. This is when concurrently the House and Senate will hear the budget bill for the first time in the full body.

The Joint Appropriations Committee will begin meeting the week of December 9 to begin work on the supplemental budget.
