Numerica Hires James Numata as SVP of Risk

James Numata Numerica

Wash.-based Numerica Credit Union has announced the hiring of James Numata as its new Senior Vice President of Risk. He will oversee Numerica’s compliance, fraud, and risk management departments.

Numata brings 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Skilled at developing new departments and programs, he ensures regulations are met and challenges are mitigated. Numata was previously the Senior Vice President and Director of Enterprise Risk Reporting for Bank of Hawaii.

“James’ extensive experience in risk management will bring valuable insights and fresh perspectives to our organization,” said Ben Richardson, Numerica’s Chief Financial Officer. “His leadership will undoubtedly strengthen our efforts and benefit both our employees and members as we continue to advance our mission.”
