GoWest Solutions Announces Advanced Leadership Program Scholarship Winner Neda Milani

GoWest Solutions is excited to announce the scholarship winner to the 2024 Advanced Leadership Program: Neda Milani, Lending and Collections Manager, Credit Union of the Rockies.

The Advanced Leadership Program is a transformational leadership course that equips the next generation of credit union leaders with the tools, skills, and resources needed to increase their strategic impact. This intensive program helps participants gain a deeper understanding of their current level of empowerment, enabling them to take more effective action.

“We were impressed by every scholarship applicant this year,” said Layna Officer, GoWest’s Director of Credit Union Leadership and Talent Development. “Every nominee had an incredible passion for the Credit Union Movement, and Neda was no exception!”

“Winning the GoWest Solutions Scholarship contest offers me a chance to make a substantial impact in our ever-evolving industry as an aspiring leader,” said Neda Milani, who is the Lending/Collections Manager at Colorado-based Credit Union of the Rockies. “Securing the GoWest Advanced Leadership Program Scholarship played a crucial role in enabling our credit union to uphold its commitment to education, fostering a culture of continuous learning among our staff, and equipping me with the tools to enhance my abilities. This scholarship isn’t just a personal triumph; it’s a triumph shared by the Credit Union of the Rockies. I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity to participate in the GoWest Advanced Leadership Program in 2024 and am excited to tackle the challenges and opportunities that await me.”

The Advanced Leadership Program is designed for those who are interested in raising the bar of their individual, team, or organizational efforts, whether they are an individual contributor or a leader of leaders. From April to September 2024, leaders participate in intensive in-person workshops, virtual seminars, and online courses so they will walk away with the skills to increase productivity and leadership effectiveness, cultivate sustainable leadership practices, effectively communicate strategic objectives, and much more.
