Job Description:

Education/Experience
(1)    B.A. or B.S. in business or equivalent work or educational experience, recommended.

(2)    Minimum seven years’ experience in consumer banking that includes deposit, consumer lending, leadership and team management, and product support and development.

Essential Functions
(1)          Responsible for end-to-end processes within all aspects of the credit union to drive high standards for member experience, quality, timeliness, and efficiency. This includes implementing improvements to processes resulting in operational efficiency, additional sales achievements, risk management, and/or profitability enhancements.

(2)          Provides guidance, leadership and coaching to branch leadership, lending support, and training to new branch leadership on day-to-day operations.

(3)          Attends and actively engages in monthly Branch Manager Meetings.

(4)          Develop and continually enhance a training program that supports the necessary team skill requirements for servicing the Credit Union’s field of membership and promoting a sales/service environment.

(5)          Recommend modifications for product or service enhancements, policy and procedure changes that will enhance the member experience and create Credit Union efficiencies.

(6)          Oversee the collection team and functions to reduce and manage delinquencies and losses.

(7)          Have a thorough knowledge of and ensure compliance with all Credit Union policies and state and federal regulations governing Credit Union operations and management, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

(8)          Mentor and develop team members on a career path to ensure job satisfaction and continuity within the Credit Union and excellence in performance.

(9)          Administer American Lake Credit Union personnel policies, as stated in the Employee Handbook in a fair and consistent manner.

(10)      Ensure the safety and security of Credit Union staff, property, and member information according to American Lake Credit Union guidelines.

(11)      Have a thorough knowledge of all Credit Union loan products in order to logically assess and make loan decisions.  Logically assess loan product alternatives in reaching and making quality loan decisions.  Discuss loan denials, counteroffer, cash flow analysis, and credit underwriting criteria as it pertains to each loan evaluation.

(12)      Exercise responsibility for the research, implementation, and delivery of financial services to Credit Union members.

(13)      Review and monitor contracts with vendors to ensure compliance with terms and make recommendations on vendor or contract changes.

(14)      Foster and maintain constructive relationships with members, vendors, associations, and the public.

(15)      Prepare routine and periodic reports that summarize American Lake Credit Union activities (member usage, new/closed accounts, loan risk management, digital banking activity, product profitability etc.)

Relationships
(1)   President/CEO: Accountable to the President/CEO for interpreting and fulfilling the above responsibilities and any others, which may be assigned.

(2)   Other Relationships: The VP, Member Experience is required to work closely with other employees of the Credit Union.

Physical Requirements
(1)   Full-time hours required (40-hour work week), with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals and projects.  Available during business hours and all shifts from Open to Close.  Occasional Saturdays.

(2)   When in the office, combined sitting, standing, and moving throughout the workday to accomplish tasks.

Salary Range & Benefits
Salary Range: $85,000 – $100,000
