Job Description:

The Recruitment & Engagement Specialist is responsible for the overall success and implementation of Pioneer’s recruitment and team member engagement strategies. With recruiting, the Specialist will spearhead Pioneer’s recruitment efforts in the communities we serve, including off-site recruiting, job board management, HRIS management, assisting managers in the interview process and more. The goal is to find the best team members in Idaho and assist Pioneer managers through the selection process, ensuring a smooth and clear process for all.

Also responsible for the planning and coordinating team member events/celebrations (daily, monthly, yearly), internal communications, and engagement programs with the Human Resources team. This position will create and manage programs that are celebrated through Pioneer’s Mission, Vision and Core Values.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all pre-employment and recruitment efforts. This includes, but not limited to, managing online application process, communicating with candidates, assisting hiring managers through the process, proactively recruiting candidates, and initiating preemployment screenings. Will be proactive in creating new and innovative recruitment strategies. Be active in the communities Pioneer serve, knowing hiring managers and their recruit goals.
  • Responsible for HR’s team member engagement strategy, including but not limited to, internal communication, planning, coordinating and leading team member events and programs. Responsible to uphold current engagement strategies and creatively implement new engagement programs for all Pioneer team members.
  • Develops partnerships with internal teams that enable the Human Resources function to provide appropriate services to team members.
  • Works with Human Resources team on other assignments as well as being a Pioneer and Human Resources ambassador. This includes, but not limited to, all other functions of Human Resources as assigned by the AVP – Human Resources and Pioneer events in our offices/branches and in our communities.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
