Job Description:

The position is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify learning needs and design comprehensive training programs that align with business objectives and support employees’ career progression.

 Essential Job Functions  

•            Creates engaging and interactives learning content, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, simulations, and other multimedia materials that enhance the learning experience.

•            Conducts dynamic training sessions, workshops, and seminars using various delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.

•            Oversees the organization’s LMS, managing content uploads, tracking learner progress, generating reports, and continuously improving the platform’s usability and functionality.

•            Provides one-on-one coaching and mentoring to employees to enhance their professional skills and competencies, identifying, and addressing individual developmental needs.

•            Conducts training needs analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of existing training programs to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions.

•            Collaborates with HR to design and deliver onboarding programs for all new hires and new positions, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the organization.

•            Establishes evaluation metrics and conduct post-training assessments to measure the impact of learning initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for program improvement.

•            Creates development initiatives to nurture and strengthen the skills of current employees. Partners with VP of Leadership Development and DEI to develop future leaders, enhancing their ability to drive high-performance teams.

•            Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Position Required Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED any equivalent and five (5) years’ experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning and development programs with two years minimum at a financial institution.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong instructional design skills and experience with various training delivery methods. Familiarity with learning management systems and other training technologies. Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation skills and coaching others. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under deadlines. Proficiency in PC software applications in a Windows environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, excel, etc.). Ability to type 45 words per minute. Ability to read, write and speak in English. Ability to read, write and interpret written instructions, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively presenting information to groups of employees and management, both in person and virtually.

 Licenses, Training, and Certifications Required

None.

 Preferred Qualifications

•            APTD/CPTD Certifications.

•            Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, Education or any related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications.

•            Experience using Smartsheet.

•            Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.

•            Frequently required to sit.

•            Regularly required to use hands to finger keys accurately when using calculator machines or computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms.

•            Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

•            Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, ability to adjust focus.

•            The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

•            Must be able to travel independently to department and branch locations.
