Job Description:

Responsibilities

  1. Assist branches and departments with their marketing needs, including managing the marketing helpdesk, ordering supplies, producing and distributing printed collateral, critical problem solving and other duties as needed. This role is often the first point of contact on the team for branches and departments.
  2. Assist in the development of branch-specific marketing campaigns, including strategizing the allotment of marketing resources in OnPoint’s various markets to help branches hit their goals.
  3. Provide guidance to branches on how to talk about our products and promote campaigns, as well as regularly visiting the branches to model behavior while evaluating their needs.
  4. Manage marketing sponsorships, largely via event participation, as it relates to brand and business development within our communities.
  5. Event execution through extensive planning, budgeting, coordinating, setting up and hosting of community, industry and company events. Includes small and large event sponsorships.
  6. Oversee branch opening celebrations, ongoing marketing refreshes, and regular collateral updates to ensure a consistent brand and optimal member experience.
  7. Work with vendors to produce giveaways, printed materials, permanent branch fixtures and other items as needed.
  8. Ongoing branch support, including seasonal and community merchandising, digital screen content, ATM screens, product/service collateral and giveaway support.
  9. Assist with writing and editing of advertising and marketing material as needed (e.g. promotional literature, flyers, signs, merchandising, brochures, etc.).
  10. Integrate closely with other areas of marketing (e.g. digital marketing, community relations, social media, public relations, etc.).
  11. Incorporate credit union policies and procedures to ensure all marketing-related activities conform to applicable regulatory and credit union mandated standards.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Service-oriented mindset and a willingness to problem-solve.
  2. Ability to organize and budget overlapping projects and initiatives.
  3. Strong attention to detail and proactive nature is essential. Thrives in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and high expectations.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate with people at all levels inside and out of the organization.
  5. Proven ability to perform and apply design skills across multiple channels including web, traditional and digital.
  6. Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-4 years of previous experience in a marketing department.
  2. Experience in event management and branch/retail marketing is highly desired.
  3. Previous experience within a financial institution with product knowledge and development experience is preferable.
  4. Ability and willingness to work some weekends and travel regularly within Oregon and SW Washington.
  5. Light physical exertion with ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  6. Valid driver’s license.
