As a progressive financial institution, we are seeking a dynamic individual to fulfill the role of Regional Branch Manager for our West Region (Meridian, Caldwell, Middleton, and Nampa Idaho locations).

The Regional Branch Manager is a strategic leader who manages, motivates, coaches, and supports branch leaders and teams in delivering ‘WOW’ service to all Pioneer members and internal team members. This role oversees the daily operations of multiple branch locations to ensure effective and efficient processes, exceptional member service, and compliance with all policies and regulations. They are responsible for executing strategic initiatives, meeting performance goals, and mentoring branch management in a way that fosters high-performing teams and consistent service experiences across the region.


The Regional Branch Manager reports directly to the VP of Branch Administration, communicates branch performance trends regularly, and plays a key role in identifying areas for improvement and innovation. They are expected to travel regularly between branches within their assigned region to provide on-site coaching, observe branch operations firsthand, and deliver feedback rooted in context and direct experience. This role is almost exclusively on-site and requires strong visibility across their assigned locations.


The Regional Branch Manager is also a brand advocate for the credit union and ensures that Pioneer’s professional image, culture, and service standards are always upheld.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees Pioneer’s branch team members through subordinate managers and directs all aspects of those daily operations, the quality of member service, policy and procedures, strategic vision and implementation, and ensures compliance with operational regulations and policies. 
  • Directs, coaches, develops, and motivates branch management to ensure that defined goals and objectives are being met and that each branch is providing “WOW” service to our membership.
  • Monitors operational results and partners with Branch Managers to meet or exceed targets.
  • Resolves member-related concerns upon escalation and proactively addresses team member concerns.
  • Maintains high standards for the overall member experience. Oversees talent management at the branch level, including participation in hiring decisions, performance evaluations, and team member development plans. 
  • Ensures branch management are coaching their team members and initiating corrective action when performance expectations are not met.
  • Develops and recommends short- and long-term branch goals and operational plans to the VP of Branch Administration. Leads by example in ensuring products, services, and service standards are consistently communicated, demonstrated, and understood across teams.
  • Monitors branch budgets and regularly travels to branch locations to coach in person, observe performance, and evaluate alignment with organizational goals. 
  • Collaborates with the VP of Branch Administration to evaluate staffing levels across branches and makes recommendations for increases, reductions, or reallocations based on member traffic, strategic initiatives, or team capacity. 
  • Oversees planning and coordination of branch coverage during absences, leaves, or unexpected staffing changes. 
  • Monitors all branch activities to ensure they align with credit union policies, compliance expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Applies experience and sound judgment to identify risks and maintain internal controls.
  • Promotes a culture of accountability and compliance.
  • Provides strategic coaching to branch management to support their development and success in achieving established sales and service goals.
  • Ensures consistent follow-through on coaching at all levels.
  • Supports training and reinforces policies to maintain a knowledgeable and member focused team.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
