Job Description:


Essential Functions

  • Assist in development of policies, including ensuring they comply with regulatory requirements, and assist with updates as needed.
  • Assist with discovery requests and documentation review.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel and track legal invoices.
  • Support front-line and operations.
  • Assist with legal and regulatory research and general reports for internal use.
  • Assist with other legal and regulatory projects.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory framework of credit union.
  • Review POAs, trust documents, and documents for signing authority.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Detail oriented with strong work ethic.
  • Ability to identify pertinent information and create documents that present relevant information clearly and succinctly.
  • Ability to work with MS Office Suite, Lexis, and Westlaw products
  • Ability to collaborate and develop effective relationships across the organization.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Paralegal Certificate required
  • 3-5 years Paralegal (or comparable) experience at a financial services company or law firm with financial services practice.
