Fibre Federal Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time Member Solutions Manager to join our team by making an impact in your community by helping our members achieve their financial goals.
Wage Range: $80,889.54 to $121,334.30
The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase. The target range for qualified new hires is typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role.
This is not a remote position. Position is located in Longview, Washington.

PRIMARY FUNCTION
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the Member Solutions Department by overseeing delinquent accounts, protecting Credit Union assets, minimizing Credit Union losses, and providing support to the AVP/Credit Administration to align with the Member Solutions Strategic Vision.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a current and comprehensive knowledge of and follow all Credit Union policies, procedures, and Federal and State laws as applicable. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Credit Union lending products, services, policies, and procedures. Effectively communicate Credit Union policies and procedures to staff.
- Manage and authorize all delinquent loan/share collections, repayment and delinquency resolutions including but not limited to loan modifications as outlined in problem loan policy, bankruptcies, repossessions, legal proceedings, charge off, foreclosures, and management of REO properties.
- Approve and/or deny various credit decisions within assigned lending and signing authority.
- Provide reporting relating to the functions of the Member Solutions Department to the AVP/Credit Administration and/or Senior Management as outlined in policy and procedures.
- Assist the AVP/Credit Administration with loan and share collection compliance, special projects, and auditors as needed.
- Maintain and be the primary administrator of the Credit Union collection platform, Akuvo-Aperture.
- Responsible for Member Business Loan Collections with the assistance of the Commercial Lending Leadership team, AVP/Credit Administration, and SVP/Chief Credit Officer.
- Perform Member Solutions Department policy and procedure compliance audits, quality of work audits, and analysis of judgment and thought process. May work in conjunction with the Credit Administration Compliance Auditor.
- Write, implement, and maintain Member Solutions Department procedures and internal controls. Ensure all internal controls, policies, and procedures are followed. Streamline processes and procedures to maximize efficiency.
- Provide ongoing direction, scheduling, coaching, technical assistance, and training to Member Solutions staff to develop and encourage their performance. Conduct staff and department meetings as needed.
- Monitor, observe, and maintain adequate documentation of Member Solutions staff work performance. Conduct employee evaluations.
- Responsible for monitoring all communication avenues to ensure proper attention, follow up, and compliance with Communication Guidelines by Member Solutions staff.
- Responsible for the Member Solutions Vendor relations, due diligence, and performance as outlined in Credit Union Policies.
- Responsible for tax reporting of 1099-A, 1099-C, 1098, and quarterly 5300 bankruptcy reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience – The individual is to have at least two years of Credit Union experience, with lending and collection knowledge or equivalent preferred. One year of manager/supervisor experience or equivalent is preferred.
- Problem Solving – The individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
- Human Relations – The individual must have excellent human relations skills to deal effectively with the public, department, and Credit Union staff.
- Oral Communication – The individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. The individual maintains on-going communication with Department Head concerning activities of the department as well as needs or problems and keeps them informed of all pertinent problems, irregularities, new developments, changes, and other important information.
- Written Communication – The individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and can read and interpret written information.
- Technical Skills – Proficient in Word and Excel along with skills to manage applicable systems and programs.
- Planning/Organizing – The individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, and develops realistic action plans.
- Quality Control – The individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors their own work to ensure quality.
- Dependability – The individual is consistently at work and on time (except for those cases protected by law which are outlined in the Employee Guide), follows instructions, responds to Management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
- Observes Policies/Procedures – The individual sets an example in observing (following) Credit Union policies and applicable Standard Operating Procedures, as well as those in the Employee Guide.
