Job Description:
- Build trust and rapport with clients by proactively recommending marketing strategies and tactics that drive performance; including identification, measure and reporting mROI and relevant key performance indicators.
- Develop, execute and measure marketing tactics and activities for internal clients. Provide marketing insight (members, markets, competition, and consumer/business behavior) to client in collaborative discussions when developing marketing tactics.
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager on how success is defined, based on lead metrics, and how they impact lag results. Track and communicate key performance indicators at defined cadence.
- Make recommendations to pivot as necessary based on effectiveness of tactics.
- Assist and coordinate activities and measures to execute programs and campaigns within budgets and deadlines. Execute and measure agreed marketing mix (tactics) to support marketing activities. Act as a point-of-contact for all aspects of campaign or program performance.
- Demonstrate effective and objective creative input and review using critical thinking skills – consistently hitting the mark on brand and campaign objectives. Consistently use effective judgment when determining if and when to create/curate content; or use creative resource.
- Provide necessary creative input for development of marketing communication assets to support marketing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance; within budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate on input for marketing communications calendar. Seek to continually evolve efficiency in the distribution of marketing messages that maximize the effectiveness of marketing communication tools.
- Proactively make recommendations for process improvement which create efficiencies (resources, time, and/or money); without sacrificing objective and/or requirements.
- Accurately and efficiently execute marketing process and procedures.
- Proactively seek best practices with vendor partners and collaborates with Marketing Manager on how to get the most from the relationship. Understands and monitors spending with vendor partner.
- Act as key point-of-contact for assigned vendor partners with awareness of their offering and value to the credit union. Administers annual partner review with assigned vendors.
- Proactively reach out to other Harborstone team members and look for deliberate and intentional opportunities to drive marketing’s cultural goals. Exhibit ideal cultural behavior.
- Understand and exhibit traits that drive Harborstone’s culture and participates in team and individual activities that increase marketing’s cultural impact.
- Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices to acquire, activate, and retain customers.
- Knowledge of communication techniques and best practices to develop, write, and place content in a manner that is relevant to the intended target audience.
- Attendance may be desired outside regular business hours, but is not frequent.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Initiative and planning skills; must be able to work independently.
- Efficiently work under pressure to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to work with diverse personalities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must possess valid driver’s license.
Required Experience/Education:
- Three years Marketing Associate I, or equivalent five years’ experience developing and implementing aspects of marketing and advertising programs and campaigns preferred, including strong writing skills.
- Use of marketing analytics for insight and performance a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required, marketing focus preferred.
