Marketing Analytics Manager

Role:
Marketing Analytics Manager is responsible for analyzing marketing data to inform marketing strategies and improve marketing performance. This includes analyzing customer behavior, identifying trends, and developing insights to drive marketing decisions. Proficient in dashboard building via data visualization technology and have strong communication skills. Must be optimization-oriented and can juggle multiple priorities simultaneously. This role is a critical component of Rogue’s Marketing team responsible for data management, process and optimization.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
25% Hires, trains, coaches and motivates a highly qualified staff to meet the daily operational needs of assigned areas. Establishes and maintains objective accountability measurements and evaluates performance on all direct reports. Leads the Marketing Analytics team to execute credit union and marketing goals in addition to assigned projects and areas of responsibility.
25% Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, test campaigns, ad-hoc analytic requests and development/automation and presenting of regular reports.
25% Creates and publishes reports on KPIs, marketing program ROI and incrementality, and clearly communicate key learnings and recommendations to stakeholders. Identify trends and recommend data-driven responses to guide strategy and decision making within the Marketing department.
10% Evaluates multi-channel behavior and provides insight and recommendations for further enhancements to the member experience.
10% Proactively makes recommendations for marketing campaign development and testing, and marketing campaign improvements. Understands member segments and how best to target different markets or segment groups. Collaborates with other departments to help promote the credit union’s products.
5% Proactively perform other duties as needed or assigned.

5. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively articulate insights and make recommendations.

7. Exhibits, manages and completes the workload expectations with consistency, thoroughness and accuracy. Demonstrates the knowledge needed to do the job. Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills.
8. Maintains an understanding of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures as well as an understanding of the credit union’s mission and vision and guiding values.
9. Adheres to and maintains all credit union promotional, regulatory and policy compliance requirements including compliance with any Federal and State laws.
10. Demonstrates empathy, self-reflection and adjustment of own behaviors.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A bachelor’s degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
Other Skills: Experience with comprehensive reporting tools such as Tableau, Sisense and Business Objects. Expert hands-on skills in data analytics and statistical analysis. Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen. Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills. Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work with cross functional teams on data collection and analysis.
Physical Requirements: Some lifting required (up to 30 pounds), continuous sitting, occasional standing and occasional walking. Finger dexterity while using computer. Occasional talking and hearing in person and on the telephone. Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
Work Environment: Normal office environment. Comfortable with heating and air conditioning. Minimal noise presented by office equipment and foot traffic. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e., robbery. Outdoor activities may vary in comfort and temperature.
