Job Description:

Our six-state not-for-profit trade association seeks a Manager, Credit Union Development to strategize and lead the delivery of a comprehensive future-focused credit union council program, the suite of small credit union resources, event content, and programming aligned with GoWest strategic objectives.

This position offers the flexibility of working remotely from within one of our regional states (AZ, CO, ID, OR, WA, & WY) or in one of our offices (AZ, CO, ID, OR, & WA).

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, implement, and execute the strategy of the Association’s Council program.
  • Develop and maintain the Association’s resources and benefits of membership for small credit unions.
  • Regularly gather feedback from small credit union leaders to understand their needs and deliver value.
  • Lead, execute, and manage program design and delivery.
  • Develops strategies and drives content selection for major GoWest events.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders and program owners to create a seamless experience across association’s offerings.
  • Serves on the association’s cross-enterprise concierge team, sharing association priorities with assigned credit unions, gathering feedback, and relaying key intelligence back to the broader team.

Our ideal candidate should have a robust program design and development background with proven competency in strategic thinking, plan development, and execution. In depth credit union knowledge is preferred. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to launch and manage large initiatives, attention to detail, and a team work ethic.

Salary ranges from $55 – $68k base salary, depending on experience. This position is eligible for a variable pay program with a potential 5% of base salary earnings. Employees (and dependents 50%) are covered by medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability. Employees are eligible to enroll in our 401k plan. New employees will accrue 15 days of vacation and 8 days of paid time off. In addition, employees will enjoy eleven paid holidays and two floating holidays.
