Lending Services Specialist

Provides lending support services that flex for the lending needs of the Credit Union, members, staff, and other departments. Serves as a resource to support staff on lending systems, policies, rules, regulations, procedures, practices, products, services, and lending-related questions.
60% Supports various departments through a variety of communication channels including phone, email, fax, JIRA, etc. with lending services responsibilities by adjusting to the needs of those departments. This assistance may include but is not limited to direction on indirect funding, front line support, title processing, loan file maintenance, Confluence, total loss, and various reports.
20% Provides prompt assistance to the front line staff regarding lending systems, policies, rules, regulations, procedures, practices, products (ie. GAP, Credit Life and Disability, etc) and services. Assures every Member is provided with exceptional service experiences, and their needs are being promptly and accurately met to inspire loyalty.
10% Serves as the lead or expert in at least one major function of the department. Assumes the responsibility for specific projects related to lending. Assists with cross-training within the department and with other staff members.
5% Stays current on applicable regulations, credit union policies, operational controls, safety measures, service, and security procedures to ensure compliance throughout assigned areas of the credit union.
5% Proactively performs other duties as needed or assigned.
