Job Description:

Responsibilities

Essential Functions: 

  • Day-to-day oversight of key financial education programs including:
    • Cultivate relationships with program partners
    • Identify and measure key indicators of program success
    • Build deep understanding of programs under their purview
    • Develop strategic communication for internal and external audiences to increase engagement with financial education programs
    • Integrate content between new and existing programs
  • Assist in the identification, evaluation and implementation of new financial education programs and resources in various stages of development.
  • Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Oversee relevant planning and communication to be shared with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with OnPoint departments and partners to create innovative ideas to promoting OnPoint’s financial education resources.
  • Regularly produce and edit various content types (including email, articles, social media posts, blogs, etc.).
  • Maintain relevant information in the credit union’s Learning Management System to increase employee understanding and engagement with financial education programs.
  • Solicit and incorporate participant feedback into the planning of financial education programs.
  • Respond to inquiries about financial education activities.
  • Occasionally works special events outside of normal business hours within Oregon and SW Washington.
  • Ability to safely operate company or personal vehicle when traveling within Oregon and SW Washington. Valid driver’s license required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proven attention to detail and ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, and manage deadline-driven assignments simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated comfort in asking for, receiving and taking action on feedback from team members and partners.
  • Ability to strategically develop and implement new ideas and objectives.
  • Intermediate/advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of experience and education (ideal areas of study or experience could be Education, Content Strategy/Marketing, Organizational Development, Training, Human Resources, Project Management, Business or Non-profit Management)
  • Valid driver’s license, with clear driving record, and reliable means of transportation in Oregon and SW Washington.
  • Light physical exertions with ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
