The Electronic Services Manager will manage and lead a support services center of excellence team to meet the credit union’s strategy and business goals. The areas include debit and credit card programs, electronic payment systems, and ATM/ITMs. The manager will provide leadership and direction to the team and build strong relationships with all stakeholder partners to ensure successful execution of these programs for the credit union. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Maintaining subject matter expertise on essential programs critical to the credit union.
  • Creating, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive cards program, including an electronic payments system and ATMs/ITMs.
  • Mentoring and guiding a small team of subject matter experts.
  • Participating in key initiatives and projects and providing program expertise and experience.
  • Building processes and workflows, creating efficiencies and standardization.
  • Identifying, assessing, and measuring ongoing compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Reporting and recommending course correction based on performance data and trends.
  • Building business justification and presentations. Forecasting and anticipating future needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners/third-party service providers.
  • Ensuring potential risks are identified and collaborating with card processors to mitigate losses.
  • Creates and perpetuates a strong service and sales-generation mindset and culture.
  • Providing insights into rules and regulations impacting the electronic services functions.
  • Monitors and ensures card disputes are handled accurately and timely.
  • Monitors and ensures the credit card rewards program is appropriately maintained.
  • Acts as system administrator for key systems.
  • Ensures all team members maintain proficiency.
  • Ensures electronic services policies and procedures are kept current.
  • Ensures all appropriate employees are provided timely and relevant information to contribute to an effective electronic services program.
  • Participates in briefings to management and responds to audit/exam questions as needed.
  • Must have strong work ethic, effective interpersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communication, team and goal-oriented, professional attitude, work well under pressure, attention to detail, organized, flexible, honest, able to work in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of five years of work experience in the banking and credit union industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years leading others.
  • Advanced knowledge of Rules and Regulations for Credit, Debit, ATM, and EFT Programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exercises an appropriate level of courtesy, tact, and professional communication with credit union employees, members, and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AA or BA degree.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in card portfolio management, including EPS/ATM/ITMs.
  • Proficient with card services systems such as DNA, Client Central, and Architect.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Credit Card Act, EFT, and Reg Z.
Working Conditions: 
  • This is a hybrid role with work performed remotely as well as in an office and/or branch environment in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State.
  • Team members may attend special off-hour meetings and seminars.
  • The nature of work may include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
