Job Description:

Responsible for the preparation and validation of mortgage lending disclosures specifically the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure. Responsible for overall coordination and correspondence with title companies during the closing and funding process. Works with the Mortgage Loan Advisors and Production Coordinators to prepare and review documents and prioritize loan signings.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

45% Acts as the subject matter expert for the generation of the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure documents. Actively monitors assigned loan queue to ensure all disclosures are generated accurately to comply with state and federal regulations and requirements. Responds to staff inquiries making recommendations or providing insight. Proactively seeks clarification on any questions to ensure regulatory requirements are met. Focuses attention and efforts to eliminate tolerance violations as described by regulation. Partners with internal staff (i.e., Underwriter, Processor, Closer, Operations Management, etc.) or external parties and third party-vendors to ensure efficient, quality closings.

35% Coordinates with the title companies to prepare, review, and approve the closing disclosures. Prioritizes loan signings and prepares final closing documents. Ensures all stipulated conditions are cleared prior to loan funding, reviews signed closing documents, balances with the title company funds the loan and coordinates the recording with the title company.

10% Follows up with post-closing documents validating that all documents have been received. Completes and reviews the closing checklist to ensure all applicable items are complete.

5% Responsible for working with the Mortgage Loan Originator and Production Coordinators to review the loan portfolio and prioritizes loan signings.


5% Proactively performs other duties as needed or assigned.
