Job Description:

InRoads Credit Union is seeking a diligent, and knowledgeable full time Director of Marketing to join our team in St. Helens, Oregon. This position comes with a full benefit package including a matching 401k and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

The role of the Director of Marketing will lead all marketing initiatives. They will develop and execute strategic marketing plans to enhance brand visibility, attract new members as well as deposits and loans, and deepen relationships with existing members. This role requires a strong understanding of financial products, market trends, and effective marketing strategies tailored to a community-focused financial institution. The Director of Marketing will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth, maintain compliance, and uphold the credit union’s mission and values.

 

This role will require a minimum of five years of experience in management of teams, products or functions. The candidate must have demonstrated exceptional verbal, written communication and presentation skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business is preferred.

 

A successful Director of Marketing should be equipped with the following:

 

  • Ability to effectively lead a dynamic team
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to represent the credit union professionally and positively and to interact effectively with members, staff and management.
  • Must be proficient in using design programs including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess time management, organizational and analytical skills; must be able to coordinate a variety of projects and pay close attention to details.
  • Ability to originate ideas in a fast-paced environment with multiple short-term deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, walk, and stand for lengths of time.
