Pay Range

The full pay range is $69,871.00-$104,807.00 /annually. Depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available. Incentives targets vary by role.

We offer a bilingual differential for employees who can assist our members’ financial needs in a second language. Proficiency is subject to passing a standardized verbal assessment. Currently approved languages are Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Tagalog.

We are seeking a Data Analyst & Governance Specialist to join our team! This position focuses on data governance and analytics. Blends expertise in data governance principles with data analytics techniques to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization. Collaborates with data governance teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance while also leveraging data analytics to extract insights, trends, and patterns from our data assets.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with data governance teams to implement data governance policies, standards, and processes.
  • Conducts comprehensive data quality assessments, identifying anomalies, inconsistencies, and data errors.
  • Performs data analytics to extract actionable insights from data.
  • Identifies trends, patterns, and correlations in data sets to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains data governance dashboards, reports, and metrics to monitor data quality, data lineage, and compliance with data governance policies.
  • Implements data governance monitoring processes to proactively identify data-related issues and ensure data governance controls are effective.
  • Conducts training sessions and workshops to educate stakeholders on data governance principles, data analytics techniques, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Communicates data governance findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Works with business users supporting data quality improvement, standard KPI definitions, standardized reporting, and overall usage and data monitoring across the organization.
  • Outlines and manages data governance performance and standards by creating documentation on data processes that ensure proper audit roles are in place to check and clean data sources.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field of study.
  • Minimum of seven (3) years of experience as a data analyst or business analyst with a focus on data governance, data quality, and data analytics.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in Data Management, Data Analytics, Data Governance, or related field of study.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data modeling concepts, data quality principles, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience with data governance tools, data profiling tools, and data quality management processes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable insights.
  • Possess the ability to explain and present information to internal stakeholders, Senior Management, and outside auditors as needed.

This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits. Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance is paid at a 100% by company for the employee coverage. We also offer Health Care FSA (HCFSA) and Day Care FSA (DCFSA). Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our 401k plan. Full-Time Regular employees accrue 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave, on a monthly basis. Full-Time Regular hired employees also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 1 floating holiday, 16 hours of self-care time, and 16 hours of volunteer time.

All benefits except 401k start the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Employees become eligible to contribute to 401k on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
